Flat sheet liner or Box liner/Koi pond liner?

Flat sheet liners – These are best for informal ponds with sweeping curves. They have a natural look with gently varying depths and sloping sides.

Box liners – These are used to line formal geometric ponds with vertical sides. They are used when a liner is needed with no folds or creases and are best suited to Koi carp.

1. Flat Sheet Liners

i) Square or rectangular liners can be bought easily and quickly online. Our calculator will work out the exact size you need to buy.

ii) For large ponds (liner in excess of 200m ) with complex designs it may be more economical for you if we fabricate a staggered flat panel liner. All we need is a drawing of the pond with some measurements – call +44 (0)1277 653281 for advice.

2. Box liners / Koi Ponds?

Straightforward rectangular box shapes of one depth with vertical sides can be ordered easily online. If you wish to edge your pond with paving or coping stones, you will need to order a liner with a rim, we call it a ‘flange’, so that the sides of the pond are kept secure.

Accessories

1. Do I Need Pipe Sleeves?

If your pond has a filler pipe or an overflow pipe through the liner it will need a pipe sleeve to seal it and prevent leakage. This is easy to do:

i) With a made-to-measure kit which we can supply from our online shop. You simply enter the measurement of the outside diameter of the pipe and we will send you the correct size pipe sleeve together with your liner.

 ii) We can weld the pipe sleeve to the liner in our factory before we send it out to you. We just need to know the pipe size and the exact position of the pipe. Call +44 (0)1277 653281 for more information.

2. Repair Kits

Although British Butyl Rubber is a very strong and flexible material, there may be an occasion when the pond leaks and needs to be repaired. This is easy to do and gives excellent results. Repair Tape is used for small areas of damage and Fipec Repair Kits are used for larger ones. Both are available through us. Just call on +44 (0)1277 653281.
