The Butyl Products' range of demountable water storage tanks were initially developed in the 1960s to meet the demand for economical water storage in the agriculture and horticulture industries. They soon found uses in manufacturing for storing firewater and process liquids.
Initially designed for short term use, the tanks are now often used for long term liquid storage and an application life of 20 years is not uncommon.
The tanks need no base structure so they can be built on any flat ground.
Suitable for all climates.

Tank Body
The main tank structure comprises 0.80m wide x 3.05m long panels of corrugated galvanised steel which are punched and curved to suit the tank size. Galvanised round headed bolts with washers and nuts are provided to assemble the steel panels to form a ring of the required diameter and height. The top edge of the steel is protected by a circular plastic capping piece.

Tank Lining The lining comprises a fully welded watertight bag sized to suit the tank. Liners are manufactured in a range of materials and a range of thicknesses to suit the required application. The liner is held in position at the top of the tank by clamping between two capping pieces and locking in position using spring clips. |
