Demountable water storage tanks are ideal for long term or temporary use, available with sizes ranging from 8,000 litre to 200,000 litre capacity. Our lined, steel tank kits are dispatched complete with assembly instructions and tools.

Suitable for the storage of many liquids including 'firewater', 'rainwater', 'drinking water', liquid fertilizer and many special liquids used in manufacturing..

Demountable Tank Specification

Water Tank Body

The main tank structure comprises corrugated galvanised steel which are punched and curved to suit the tank size. Galvanised round headed bolts with washers and nuts are provided to assemble the steel panels to form a ring of the required diameter and height. The top edge of the steel is protected by a circular plastic capping piece.

Water Tank Lining A range of lining materials in varying thicknesses are available, and selected to suit the tank's application, be it: firewater, rainwater, greywater, potable water or special liquid storage. The tank liner is prefabricated to form a bag sized to suit the tank required. The liner is held at the top edge of the tank by clamping between two capping pieces then locked using spring clips. Water Tank Fittings 3" BSP (M) through tank fittings are provided for inlet and outlet use. They can be positioned wherever required and fitted with ball valves or gate valves as necessary. 2 inch and 4 inch fittings are also available. Water Tank Roofs Many tanks are used "open top" as rainwater storage tanks however when a roof is required there are two options: A galvanised steel roof with lockable access suitable for all environments and long term use. A PVC pitched roof supported on a central pole, suitable for all conditions except snow. Water Tank Heaters Anti-freezing immersion heaters can be fitted, controlled by frost stats, to warm the tank contents and prevent freezing if required.

Special Tank Sizes and Capacities

Larger and higher tanks can be produced to order, up to 15m diameter and 4m high. These may require concrete bases.
