This non-corrosive WRA approved Self-Closing Tap was developed 8 years ago to overcome the problems that very low and very high water pressure causes with other self-closing taps.
Sectional SCAT Tap diagram The SCAT water saving tap (similar in look to the Talbot Tap) is lightweight and robust. Outwardly designed to be familiar to the user, it incorporates a unique valve internally that allows the tap to be opened at high pressure and closes firmly under low pressure.

The Tap has been tried and tested by many international aid agencies in heavy use environments. The tap proved to be the favourite by the users and well received by engineers keen to save water. Over 50,000 supplied since launch.
